Set between the Sesto and Braies Dolomites are the lovely
mountain valleys of the Alta Val Pusteria.
The peaks in this land-scape, including the Tre Cime di
Lavaredo, are among the most striking in the Dolomites. The
towns of Sesto, S. Candido, Dobbiaco, Villabassa and Braies
are well known for their heartfelt hospitality and the
welcomes they extend to visiting families.
In the Alta Val Pusteria there are 7 skiing regions with a
total of 27 cableways and lifts and 53 km of downhill runs
to choose from. The land of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo is a
particularly family-friendly area. This means that there are
numerous events that take place out on the pistes, from snow
shovel races to treasure hunts in the snow castle, that are
specially suited to providing enjoyment for the whole family. |
