Not only the small village Villabassa has its special charm - the whole Alta Pusteria Valley in the middle of the Dolomites in the UNESCO World Heritage shines in the eastern South Tyrol. Some hearts beat faster here: those of hikers and mountaineers, sports-men's hearts, the hearts of those interested in culture and history, true connoisseurs, climbers, skiers, cross-country skiers, snow-shoe hikers, snowboarders and nature lovers. It is quite possible that some have been left here - the Pustertal Valley is worth seeing in any case.
With the (multi-)day 3 Zinnen Mountain Card you can enjoy unlimited use of all the lifts in the Three Peaks Dolomites and experience five mountains according to your own preferences. The card is also really useful for bikers as bike transportation on the cable cars is included in the price.
Between giants and dwarfs
The perfect destination for families at the foot of the imposing Monte Baranci. Flowering meadows and lush green pastures provide a wonderful playground for young and old. There’s lots to enjoy up here: the "Zwergenparcours” ropes course; the barefoot lakes; a tubing course; and the Fun Bob summer toboggan run. A special highlight is the new giant’s realm with the family circular trail.
In the middle of pastures
Normally the great views come only at the end of a tour, but the Stiergarten gives you an early reward with a view of the Sesto sundial and the Three Peaks. The mountain is a wonderful starting point for lots of hikes and bike tours to the Sesto mountain pastures and over the Carnic Alpine ridgeway.
Visiting Olperl
There’s nowhere else in the area which offers you such a far-ranging view as Monte Elmo! And the visitor experience is enhanced by Olperl's Nature Park, the Kinderalm, and a variety of walking and hiking trails from which you can marvel at the sunrise or sunset.
Close to the Dolomites
The Dolomites are almost close enough to touch from Croda Rossa. This is a location where there were military emplacements in the First World War, and you can immerse yourself in history here, scale the most famous via ferratas in the Alps and visit the only reindeer herd in the Alps.
