The Alta Pusteria cycling path from Mühlbach to Lienz in Austria - a well arranged bicycle network with a length of 105 km - allows wonderful tours for everyone. Additionally there are fantastic possibilities without any significant ascents or even for the adventurous among us. The Enduro, the enhancement of the mountain bike, is a great companion due to its weight-optimised frame and light wheels. And for those who like steep uphill support, the e-bike can take you to lofty heights and rustic mountain pastures. If you have your own bike with you, you can safely store it with us. Panoramic roads, mountains and breathtaking views - a dream for many cycling enthusiasts. The wonderful mountain passes in the middle of the Dolomites, UNESCO World Heritage attract many sportsmen. The fantastic location of our Bike Hotel is a perfect central starting point for such. The possibility to reach passes on two wheels - direction Cortina for example - is a paradise for all racing cyclists.
Val Pusteria cycle path
There’s a clearly laid out bicycle network with no appreciable gradients throughout Val Pusteria. The total length from Mühlbach to Lienz in East Tyrol is 105 km, and this can be covered in stages over several days.

Christian Pircher, owner of the hotel and a passionate cyclist himself, has turned the former "Adler-Disco" - into a small workshop. Here, not only he himself tinkers with vintage racing bikes, but it is also open for our guests. An old racing bike Bianchi also has its place here. Our guests are also welcome to polish and work on their own bicycles, for larger repairs there is a bike store just around the corner!
The annual edition of the South Tyrol Dolomiti Superbike is a very popular highlight. The Bike Marathon, a celebration by and with people, provides unforgettable moments and emotions! The South Tyrol Dolomiti Superbike is now called "The Legend" - a really exciting spectacle. Very popular with our guests is also the fantastic possibility to try out the Dolomiti Superbike track yourself, available for everyone. "Explore the legend" - as the cycling in the middle of gigantic Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage is called!
